OUR ORIGINS
Zoe Ministries started in a humble living room in 2012 and has grown into a family of churches and ministries.
We chose the name 'Zoe' because it is the Greek word for 'life' that Jesus promised. From those first few chairs, we committed ourselves to a singular, radical focus
"People over Structure".
We dream of healthy, reproducing churches across India and beyond — small enough to know one another, strong enough to reach the nations.

These values shape who we are, how we live together, and how we join God in His mission. Rooted in Christ and expressed through everyday life, they guide us as a family of disciples seeking to see His Kingdom advance.
We are relational
‘We are a family’ and we cherish the friendships God has blessed us with in our church family. We foster this sense of family through hospitality; you would hear the term, ‘open home’ often in our circles.
Friendship, sense of family and food are the relational aspects evident in our churches. We value people more than programs or structure.
One of the catchphrases of our senior leadership is: “People are important.”
We are Missional
We are missional and we believe we are blessed by God to be a blessing to others. Since the greatest blessing we have ever received is Christ Jesus, our greatest privilege and joy is to share Christ with others. We aren’t just consumers but also dispensers in the Kingdom of God.
We remember how Jesus had compassion on people; so we move outward with the same heart.
We are Christ-centered
We are Christ-centered. We believe that it is not about drawing people to ourselves, but to Christ. We see Christ at the center of all things, including our jobs, families, our ministry, recreation, hopes & dreams.
We thank God for the gifts he has blessed us with in the church, but when we receive praise for our God-given gifts and talents, we want to ensure the glory goes back to God.
Being Christ-centered means we acknowledge we can’t do anything apart from Christ, but also that we can all things through Christ who strengthens us.
We are Kingdom-minded
We believe it is not just about the local church: it is about God’s Kingdom advancing in our communities, cities and nation. We believe the church must engage with every sphere of society.
Zoe is proud to partner with the GMI Mental Health team, which started in 2020 to provide a space for those hurting. This is through awareness sessions, trainings and by providing counselling. Our heart is to influence our community and make a difference. Our prayer is – Lord let your kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven.
We are servant-hearted
We lead by serving. That is the model Jesus has given us. No job is too menial for us and we don’t chase titles or platforms. Rather, we see it as our privilege to serve the King who laid down His life for us.
Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, according to Philippians 2:5-7
We thank God for blessing us with leaders who have served us and not lorded it over us.
We believe in discipleship
We believe in discipleship. We recognize the call in the Great Commission is not to make believers, but to make disciples. We want to be influenced by those who walk the talk.
Beyond just believing, the process of discipleship transforms a believer into a disciple of Christ. Faith & sacrificial living are two key aspects of this training.
We are Apostolic (Mobis)
We believe in apostolic leadership, and welcome accountability and spiritual covering. An apostolic body brings guidance, protection & growth into our churches. It empowers us to grow into maturity and intimacy through the development of the 5-fold ministry.
In our churches, we welcome apostolic input from GMI and its senior pastor.
